HOW TO USE THIS CD
Your computer may
be in several different states when this CD is used:
1) Windows is
already running
When the CD is placed in the drive, you should see a small green
GO button overlap the standard Windows menu on
the bottom left of your display:

To prevent the GO
button from becoming hidden behind the Windows taskbar, you may choose
Show in taskbar as shown above, or you may leave it
hidden and press Alt-M on your keyboard to bring it
on top whenever desired. The CD has limited functionality in this mode.
Some menu items will be disabled or removed. The CD achieves its full
functionality when you boot from it.
2) Computer is off
Turn computer on
then place CD in drive tray as quickly as possible before Windows starts. To
allocate yourself more time if your computer starts running Windows before you
have a chance to insert the CD, you may press the Pause
key on the keyboard, then press any key after the CD is inserted.
3) If your
computer will not boot from the CD
While your
computer is running, insert CD and wait for the GO
button to appear. If the
GO button does not appear, open Windows Explorer
and double-click the menu.bat file located on the CD. Then, click
GO, System, Custom Boot, Change boot order, and
a screen similar to below will appear. Choose "0" for the partition number. When
you are finished using this CD, remember to run this program again and return
booting to the C: drive (partition 1 in this case).
4) Setup your
computer to always boot from the CD
You must access your computer’s SETUP screen (BIOS) to change the boot order.
When your computer is first starting, press the DEL
or F2 or Esc key
or look on your screen or your computer’s manual to see which key to press. Once
inside your Setup screen, look for Boot Order
and change the CD to be the first device.
